WHO WE ARE
We are a group who are passionate about Holbox and want to share our wonderful island with any and everyone.
All of our tours are independently run and offer you a glimpse into the rich cultural history of Mexico, as well as the various social, economic and political factors which have shaped modern day Holbox.
The free public walking tours are provided by a young and dynamic group of people who want to share their individual experiences and love of Holbox, meaning all our tours are uniquely different depending on the tastes of your guide for the day. We pride ourselves on a fine balance of historical tidbits and interesting and unusual stories that deliver a different perspective of the island – making it perfect for tourists, travelers, and even locals.

PUBLIC TOURS
Since its inception in 2021, our free public walking tours have become wildly popular among tourists and locals alike. Our tours guide you through Mexico´s history – winding through the remains of the Island to view structures like Mayan Temazcal (or sweatlodge) – then present a glimpse of Holbox’s beautiful Street Art. You shouldn´t miss out to hear about the Pirates.
As well as being completely free, our tours run DAILY at 4:30 PM and are led by experienced guides who are sure to inject their own tastes into each tour, so the destinations in each tour may vary from day to day. For the weather conscious, have no fear, we run the tours rain or shine – just make sure to protect yourself . At each meeting point you’ll see our tour guide who will be sporting a bright backpack with our blue logo on the front.
We run our Free Walking Tour, which will meet on the main square at the Basketball Court.

Our private tours are perfect for people who are in Holbox for a short period time and want to make the most of their visit, but do not have the flexibility for our public tour times. Our guides bring the island of life with various stories about our wonderful place that focus on the various arts, social, and historical events that helped craft Holbox into the spot we love.
Private tours are a must for groups larger than 8 and typically cater to groups of up to 20 people – if you have more, email us and we can accommodate this too. The private tours allow you to discover Holbox´s secret spots in the comfort of your own group, unlike the public tours, private groups can opt for a tailor-made tour and extend the 1,5 hour tours to a length of their choosing. For those who don’t speak English or Spanish the private tour is a must, we offer multilingual tours in the aforementioned languages as well as: Deutsch and Português.
